ABSTRACT

Objective:To summarize the status and trends of papers published by Chinese scholars on the combination teaching model in the area of medical education in China.Methods:Literature retrieval was performed on CNKI, WanFang, and VIP database, and studies regarding to combination teaching model in medical education were selected and analyzed. BICOMS-2 analysis software was used to extract and sort out keywords, provinces, authors and their organizations and generate co-occurrence matrix and/or word matrix. NetDraw and gCLUTO software were used to draw the network relationship diagram and cluster analysis respectively.Results:Totally 99 articles were included this study, and the number of articles published each year showed an increasing trend. Authors from 15 provinces contributed to these articles, with uneven development and limited cooperation across regions. The authors were divided into 4 main groups, but the communication among these groups was not enough. And there were 3 main research topics.Conclusion:The number of articles on combination teaching model in medical education in China is increasing, covering many authors, teams, institutions and regions. However, the communication and cooperation among these authors and institutions needs to be strengthened; and the research topics should be expanded.

ABSTRACT

In this study, 155 residents who participated in the standardized residency training in neurology department of Second Affiliated Hospital of Army Medical University from 2016 to 2018 were included, all of whom were medical university graduates. The training duration in neurology department was 3 months. Each physician was assigned the first mock exam to each of his tutors and took the one to one mode to carry out clinical practice teaching. First, theoretical teaching, then clinical observation, and finally clinical practice. In addition, a typical case seminar was held every two weeks. After the combined teaching, the average scores of theoretical examination were (96.78 ± 10.14) points, and the average scores of operation examination was also significantly increased (98.36 ± 11.38) points. The percentage of excellent people assessed by Mini-CEX scale was as high as 88%. The teaching approach of tutorial and seminar teaching model not only consolidates medical theory knowledge, improves clinical skills, but also enhances the ability of analyzing and solving problems and contributes to establishment of rigorous clinical thinking, which lays a solid foundation for training excellent neurology clinical specialists.

ABSTRACT

Internal medicine nursing is a very important learning course for nursing students. It is divided into two semesters in our university. Because the knowledge of the course is more complex and in-volves a wide range, many students have a poor learning effect. In order to improve the teaching effect of the course, the students leave the time to build the "summary", "extension" and "preview" combined guidance method. "Summary" is on the learning content of the summary, "extension" is the effective extension of learning content to the students, "preview" is the key content of the pre term learning habit. Then, accord-ing to the final score of medical nursing in the last semester, we can flexibly design the teaching link. For students under 60 points, holiday guidance is mainly "summary", for the students between 60 points to 85 points, holiday guidance is combined with "summary" "extension" and "preview", for students above 85 points, holiday guidance is the main "extension". Thus, the students' study and holiday time are integrated into a whole to improve their overall learning efficiency.
